- Codes come on store code cards, in website order emails and printed in Collab edition books.
- Everyone can also get one free code a month. Tap "Email me a free extra entry code" on the form.

Good to know
Do I have to buy a book to win?
No. The free entry is open to everyone, every month, and anyone can get one free extra entry code a month. Book owners also get one bonus entry.
Can kids enter?
Yes! Colorists of all ages can enter. Kids (12 and under), Teens (13 to 17) and Adults are judged in their own groups, and each group has its own prize. A parent or guardian fills in the form for anyone under 18. We only ask for the child's first name and age.
Which countries can enter?
Right now: the United States, Canada (except Quebec, which joins once our rules are in French), the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden and Australia. More are coming. Winners outside the US get an Amazon gift card for their own country's store.
How are winners picked?
By coloring skill, not by luck. After entries close, we judge approved entries on skill, creativity and neatness. The full details are in the official rules.
Why the sticky note?
It shows your photo was taken this month with your own book. The code word changes every month.
What is Colorist of the Month?
Our favorite entries are featured on the Decoder Rebellion channel and website. It's a feature, not a job offer. Artists who'd like to join a crew can apply through Join Our Team.
